Cooptel has been recognized as a Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC) since 2007. It may therefore offer local telephone services comparable to its services in its incumbent territory, in several other locations in Quebec, or in the territories of major licensees including Bell and Telus.
Among its regulatory obligations, the Company must publish its rates for access services that are intended for other Telecommunications Companies that must use some of its services.
