Hello Mrs. Chantal Martin,
- How long have you been a customer at Cooptel?
For about 20 years now.
- Why did you choose Cooptel?
To encourage a cooperative here. It is important for me to focus on the local economy.
- How many years have you been in the area?
I was born in Lawrenceville. I lived elsewhere for about 15 years, only to return to my roots and never leave.
- Which services are essential for you? Television, the Internet, the telephone?
TV and telephone. I’m not really a computer person, I prefer real human contact.
- Your favorite show?
It’s hard to choose, I actually have three. I really liked L’Heure Bleue, it was a very moving series. Like many, I really like La Voix, which allows us to see and discover Quebec talent. There is also Outlander that I like a lot for music and images.
- The best movie you have watched?
Once again, it’s very difficult to choose one. I would say “La vie est belle”, a 90s film that takes place at the time of the war and accurately shows us
the resilience of which the human being is capable. I also liked “Le Violon Rouge” a film in which we follow the road of a violin that moves from owner to owner.
- Your greatest success?
It’s cliché, but my children. It is a pride to accompany them to adulthood, to see them evolve. Apart from that, I am proud to be a happy person. I had to work and learn to let go to be good. I try to see the beautiful, the good and to be happy with what I have.
- Do you have a dream?
To travel. I went on a trip to Europe, but I want to do it again. I would love to go to Prague for culture, concerts and arts.
- Your favorite restaurant?
It’s Belge in Granby. Their gourmet lunches are excellent. I have a weakness for eggs Benedic “L’caracole” with smoked duck breast.
- Your favorite song? And why?
Difficult! I have a lot! I grew up with French songs, I really like Brel, Aznavour. I am a sentimental, one of my favorite songs is “Un parfum de fin du monde “.
